The first photos of the new BMW X7 Pickup have been presented. This is not a joke or the work of tuners: the BMW pickup was created by young interns at the Bavarian brand’s office in Munich.
The BMW X7 crossover was extended by 10 cm and its rear part was cut off. In its place appeared a cargo platform with a length of 140 cm. The car looks unusual and peculiar.
Thin taillights are installed at the rear, and there is a semblance of arches (they are masked in the rear pillars). The floor in the cargo area is lined with teak wood. By the way, the dimensions allow for transporting, for example, a motorcycle.
The new BMW X7 Pickup is equipped with a 3.0-liter 340-hp turbo engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Naturally, it is all-wheel drive.
Also provided is an air suspension with adjustable ground clearance.
The BMW X7 pickup will not be mass-produced, however, we have no doubt that some tuning studio will recreate it on request.
