Despite this, the current seller has set a price of $94,991, which is almost $70,000 above the market value of a standard C6 Corvette.
Exterior and Technical Features
The car has completely lost its original appearance thanks to an aggressive body kit that includes a new front bumper with a splitter, large air intakes, and slim headlights. The side panels have been replaced with unique ones, and the rear is equipped with a massive spoiler and a diffuser that fully exposes the rear tires. The wheel rims have been replaced with custom silver-black models.
Although the car’s exterior has been radically changed, the technical components have remained original. Under the hood is a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine, which likely retains the factory specifications – 430 hp of power and 575 Nm of torque. The car’s mileage has increased from 77,500 to 79,245 miles since the previous auctions.
Sales History and Prospects
Despite the impressive appearance, the car failed to find a buyer twice, indicating limited demand for such extreme modifications. The current price of $94,991 seems overly optimistic, considering past failures and the model’s technical conservatism. The seller is obviously counting on enthusiasts willing to overpay for a unique design, but the market value of standard C6 Corvettes remains significantly lower.
This case demonstrates how subjective the value of modified cars can be. Although the Valarra body kit transforms the Corvette into a visually striking project, its technical foundation remains typical of its time.
