Liberty Walk Land Cruiser Looks Like It’s Ready for a Fight It Can’t Win

Premiere of the Modified Land Cruiser at SEMA

Companies Alpharex and Liberty Walk presented at the SEMA show in Las Vegas a Toyota Land Cruiser all-wheel-drive SUV with wide body arches. Despite the fact that this model is traditionally not associated with high dynamic qualities, the Japanese tuner radically changed its appearance, giving it features similar to the Mercedes-AMG G63.

Key Vehicle Features

Design and Exterior

Liberty Walk had previously experimented with the larger Land Cruiser 300 model, but this project is the first for the 250 series, which is known in some markets as the Prado. The front of the car received a redesigned bumper with larger air intakes, integrated daytime running lights, and a decorative hood overlay. The side panels are complemented by signature wide fenders, and the rear features bumper extensions, a diffuser, a large spoiler, and a trunk wing.

The Alpharex Nova Series LED headlights and taillights, which give the Land Cruiser a more premium look, attract particular attention.

Chassis and Technical Details

The SUV is equipped with new 24-inch Vossen forged wheels with Toyo Tires Proxes ST III tires, designed for powerful SUVs. Although there is no exact data on suspension modifications, it is visible that the vehicle’s ground clearance is lowered and wheel spacers are used.

Cost of Tuning

The full body kit from Liberty Walk costs $8,800, and the Vossen wheels cost $14,850. For those who wish to choose individual elements, the front bumper is priced at $2,420, the rear bumper at $1,100, the rear wing at $880, the trunk spoiler at $660, and the hood overlay at $990.

This project demonstrates how even a utilitarian SUV can be transformed into a work of art through the collaboration of tuning companies. Although the technical specifications remained unchanged, the visual changes make the Land Cruiser attractive to fans of exclusive cars. Such collaborations often become trends, influencing future projects in the automotive industry.
