Peugeot Prepares an Updated Version of the E-308 SW
By 2025, the European market for electric estates has become much more diverse. If the choice was previously limited, the Peugeot E-308 SW is now being prepared for a facelift to compete with new models. Spy photos show the car hidden under camouflage wrap, but some details can still be discerned.
The front end is likely to receive a new grille with vertical elements, similar to the updated Peugeot 2008. The rear will change minimally – only new graphics for the taillights and minor bumper tweaks are expected. However, the most interesting updates might be hiding under the hood.
Expected Technical Changes
Currently, the E-308 offers only one powertrain option – a 156 hp (115 kW) electric motor with a 54 kWh battery, providing a range of about 409 km. However, Peugeot has already introduced new electric cars on the same platform with more powerful motors. For example, the Peugeot E-208 GTI has 280 hp (206 kW), so a similar option might appear for the E-308 SW.
The facelift will affect not only the electric version but also the conventional ICE 308 models. The full launch of the updated versions is expected in early 2026. Given the growing competition in the electric estate segment, Peugeot is striving to offer more modern solutions in both design and technical aspects.
