Another sports car has been crashed in Ukraine. This time, it was a Porsche 911 of the latest generation (in the 992 body).

According to dtp.kiev.ua, the accident occurred on the Boryspil highway near the Boryspil International Airport. The exact circumstances of the incident are unknown, but it is reported that the 911 first crashed into a Kia and then rammed a barrier.

As a result, the right side of the car was completely damaged – the front, side, and rear. The right rear wheel was completely torn off. At least one airbag deployed.

The likely cause of the accident was the driver’s loss of control of the Porsche due to high speed. This is indirectly indicated by the maximum extension angle of the spoiler – it takes this position when the car reaches a speed of 170 km/h (to ensure better downforce on the road).

The Porsche 911 is not a cheap car. In Ukraine, it costs from 4.34 million UAH ($162,690). The sports car is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 450 hp and an 8-speed “robotic” transmission with two clutches. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds (the version with the S prefix – in 3.6 seconds), and the maximum speed is 306 km/h.
