The classic C10 has earned its place as an American legend. In recent years, it has become a main project for restomodders across the country. While there is always some debate about heavily modified classics, if done right, they are something special. And this 1967 C10? Well, it’s done right, and now it’s looking for a new owner.
Originally, this C10 led a quiet, standard life. That was until 2022 and 2023, when a complete transformation occurred. Now, the truck boasts a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated LS3 V8 from GM, which is paired with a Holley fuel injection system and a custom intake manifold. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, making this truck ready for street rides.
There are many car builders who will finish their work after replacing the engine on a classic truck. However, this C10 has many supporting modifications to complement it. The chassis has been updated with a new front suspension assembly, and a new four-link system has been installed at the rear. Adjustable dampers are mounted at all four corners, promising a soft yet sturdy ride.
Braking duties are handled by drilled and slotted Baer brakes, while a DeWitts radiator keeps everything cool. A new power-assisted steering rack complements the upgraded handling.
We believe the exterior design was spot on. The C10 was finished in black with a white roof, and the new suspension system allowed it to be lowered to the ground. It sits on forged 18-inch wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 tires sized 225/45 at the front and 275/40 at the rear.
The cherry on top of this very powerful and certainly very fun-to-drive machine is the interior. It has been fully redone with black leather upholstery, complementing the vintage bench seat. There’s also a Vintage Air climate control system, so you don’t have to sweat in the summer, while Dakota Digital digital instruments bring the cabin to modernity, preserving the classic charm.
Currently, this truck has only traveled 84 miles (135 km) since its makeover, meaning it’s practically a blank slate for its next owner. If you can envision yourself at the wheel of this modified classic, here’s your chance.
The sale is handled by Bring a Trailer, so make your bid before someone else snatches it up.
