A Police Off-Road Ferrari in Dubai Might Be a Crime in Itself

Dubai Police Receives a Unique Patrol Car

The Dubai Police Department has added another exclusive model to its fleet of luxury patrol vehicles. This time, the service fleet has received a Ferrari Purosangue, which was customized by the renowned atelier Mansory. The car was named Pugnator and was presented to the public during the 1000 Miglia Experience UAE 2025 event.

Special Livery for Service

Visually, this specimen differs from Mansory’s standard creations. It features the official white and green livery of the Dubai Police, which makes its appearance somewhat more restrained. However, the aggressive nature of the tuning does not disappear because of this. The car is equipped with wide wheel arches, a new bumper with an enlarged radiator grille, and a splitter made of forged carbon fiber.

Visually, this is not the most attractive version of the Purosangue we have seen. The police paint job is relatively subdued compared to Mansory’s usual aesthetic.

Exterior Details and Sporty Elements

The car’s hood has received numerous air intakes, and sharp carbon fiber side skirts have been installed. The black alloy wheels feature a yellow rim. The rear of the car raises even more questions from a design standpoint. The smooth roofline is disrupted by a large static rear wing, which looks like a foreign element. An additional spoiler on the trunk lid only enhances this effect.

The lower part of the rear bumper has also been completely redesigned. It houses a carbon fiber diffuser and four exhaust pipes arranged one above the other, reminiscent of the old Ferrari California.

The Purpose of the Police Ferrari

It is not yet clear what specific service tasks will be assigned to this vehicle. While most police departments use supercars primarily for parades and representative events, Dubai Police often claims that their exclusive cars are ready for real operations. Whether this Purosangue will chase offenders or merely become an object for tourist selfies – time will tell.

The appearance of such a car in the police fleet once again highlights the emirate’s unique approach to shaping the image of its authorities. This is not just a means of transportation, but a powerful communication tool that combines technological might with status symbolism. Such decisions evoke both admiration and criticism, but they undeniably work to create a loud media buzz and support the region’s tourist appeal. However, the practical effectiveness of using such highly specialized, expensive, and visually striking cars in daily police work remains a subject of debate among experts.
