“Resourceful officers used a patrol car to push the Lamborghini off the roadway, preventing further accidents,” police stated. To be clear – the car was not set back on its wheels but was simply pushed using a special bumper. In the video, the sound of the carbon fiber body scraping against the asphalt can be heard.
Another recording shows how witnesses to the accident observed the police actions. “This accident was avoidable. Please slow down! Route 9 is not a race track,” police emphasized. The situation could have become much worse if another car had sped into the blocked section.
