As of April 2022, there are just over 3.2 thousand car dealers in Russia. According to forecasts, approximately 1.6 thousand enterprises will remain by the end of this year.
It should also be noted that in addition to the shortage of new cars, there is a lack of spare parts. The reason for this is sanctions and the decision of many importers and manufacturers to leave the Russian market, so even those dealers who remain are likely to lose their official status.
