Last month, 3841 electric cars were added to the fleet, which is 2.6 times more than in August last year. Most of them are passenger cars – 3764 units (684 new and 3080 used). Only 3 of the 77 commercial electric cars were new. Top 5 new electric vehicles in Ukraine (August 2023): 1. VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 – 275 units; 2. VOLKSWAGEN ID.6 – 58 units; 3. AUDI Q8 e-tron – 40 units; 4. TOYOTA BZ4X – 39 units; 5. HONDA E – 34 units. And although for most Ukrainians VW ID.4 is associated with German quality, in fact, it is “Chinese-made”. By the way, soon this model will become cheaper to $20,000 in the base version (in China). Top 5 used electric vehicles in Ukraine (August 2023): 1. NISSAN Leaf – 505 units; 2. VOLKSWAGEN e-Golf – 422 units; 3. TESLA Model 3 – 361 units; 4. TESLA Model Y – 218 units; 5. RENAULT Zoe – 183 units. As reported by Ukrautoprom, almost 19,900 electric vehicles have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the year.
