Last year British artist Chris Labrooy made 3D renders of several Porsche 911s in the form of a pink flamingo, a yellow duck, and a white swan. Perhaps someone in the Porsche management had a tough time during COVID, but they decided that something like this needed to be realized in reality.

As a result, we have a surreal styling of the iconic 911 996 GT3, which was fitted with inflatable body elements.

When asked why (or more precisely – what the heck?), the simple answer is that this is how the Germans decided to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their entry into the Chinese market. And the first Porsche sold in the Middle Kingdom was the 911 in the 996 body (1998-2005 production years).

Whether such a Porsche can float on water, history does not say. Nor is it clear whether the sports car can now move on land. In any case, it is a pity for the bird… or rather, for what it was made from. Comes to mind: I’ll kill you, boatman.
