Porsche 911 Speedster Prepares for a Spectacular Return

New Porsche 911 Speedster: What is Known

Porsche is preparing a new version of the 911 Speedster, which is likely to become the last model in the 992.2 lineup. The car was spotted during testing in Southern Europe. It combines design elements from the GT3 and 911 S/T, including a vented hood, sporty bumper, and center-lock wheels.

The rear of the car resembles the 911 GT3, but without the rear wing. New ventilation openings on the fenders, similar to those used on the S/T, are also noticeable. The engine will most likely be a 4.0-liter six-cylinder, but exact specifications are still unknown. In the previous Speedster version (from 2019), such an engine produced 503 hp.

Production of the new Speedster will likely be limited, as with previous versions. For example, in 2019, only 1,948 units were produced.

The new model is expected to retain the manual transmission and show similar performance figures: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and a top speed of around 310 km/h. Details will become known closer to the official presentation.

Porsche continues to expand the 911 lineup, offering various options for brand enthusiasts. The Speedster has always been a special car aimed at true enthusiasts, and the new version seems to be no exception. Its design and technical solutions emphasize its sporting character, and the limited production run will add exclusivity to the model.
