According to the Dunwoody city police, the accident occurred late in the evening on one of the local roads. It was a single-vehicle collision — the driver lost control and crashed into a tree.

The impact was so powerful that the body was torn into two parts. The front and rear sections ended up separated from each other, connected only by individual structural elements.

The passenger seat was torn from its mounts and thrown onto the roadway. The rear part of the car with the trunk and the second row of seats completely separated from the front.

The police noted that the driver’s seat area remained relatively intact. This is precisely what allowed the driver to avoid serious injuries.

Preliminary findings indicate that high speed could have been one of the causes of the accident. The exact circumstances of the crash and the speed at the time are not currently being disclosed, the investigation is ongoing.

Judging by the photos, the car could have been an expensive version with carbon-ceramic brakes and a sports exhaust system. The cost of such modifications when new exceeds $130,000.
