Porsche is preparing the most powerful version of the Taycan
Porsche is likely developing the most extreme and track-oriented version of its Taycan electric car. The prototype tested on the Nürburgring is based on the Taycan Turbo GT model with the Weissach package but has received additional aerodynamic elements from the Manthey Kit, which are used on the 911 GT3 RS.
Among the noticeable changes are modified air intakes, widened wheel arches, canards, and a massive diffuser. Ventilation holes on the front wings and aerodynamic discs on the rear wheels are also visible. These details indicate that Porsche is preparing the most sporty version of the Taycan in history.
This could be the fastest and most technologically advanced Porsche electric car, focused on track trials.
Technical specifications and expectations
The current Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package already impresses with its performance: acceleration to 60 mph in 2.1 seconds and a maximum power of 1,019 hp in Overboost mode. The new version is likely to receive even more advanced settings, allowing it to become even faster and more efficient on the track.
It is worth noting that even the base version of the Taycan Turbo GT costs over $239,000, so the new Manthey variant is expected to be even more expensive. However, for brand enthusiasts, this could become a real find, as it combines the power of an electric car with the aerodynamics of a race car.
