Porsche unveiled the track-ready 911 GT3 RS of the new generation. The sports car is already on sale at a price of 229.5 thousand euros.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS is not much more powerful – the 4.0-liter flat-six engine produces 525 hp. The manual transmission is now unavailable, and the coupe is equipped exclusively with a 7-speed PDK robotic transmission. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.2 seconds, and the top speed is 296 km/h.

However, the highlight of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is, of course, not in its dynamics, but in its handling. Its chassis has been refined, and the car is fitted with larger brakes (ceramic discs are an option) and wide Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires sized 275/35 R20 at the front and 335/30 R21 at the rear.

Additionally, the coupe has become lighter due to carbon wings, doors, roof, trunk lid, and seats. As usual, it has no rear seats – a safety cage can be installed in their place.

But the main feature of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is its aerodynamics. The body kit and the huge rear wing generate three times more downforce than in the standard 911 GT3 – 860 kg at 285 km/h. This force is regulated by Formula 1’s DRS technology.
