Porsche is experiencing a crisis in the world, but in Ukraine it is breaking sales records

According to the results of the third quarter of 2025, the brand recorded an operating loss of 611 million euros, while a year earlier it had a profit of 974 million. The reasons were a sharp decline in sales in China, American tariffs and colossal investments — up to 1.8 billion euros — in the transition to electromobility, which has not yet yielded the expected results.

In China, only 32,195 Porsches were sold in the first nine months of 2025, which is more than twice less than in the same period of 2022. The situation is also difficult in the US market — due to the introduced 15% tariffs, deliveries have decreased so much that the company is preparing to cut about 1,900 employees. All these challenges will have to be solved by the new leader — Michael Leiters, who will start his work as CEO of Porsche in January 2026.

But if Porsche is facing serious difficulties in the world, the situation in Ukraine is diametrically opposite. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the brand has not only not given up its positions — on the contrary, it is demonstrating perhaps the best sales results in the entire history of independent Ukraine.

Despite the war, economic challenges and instability, the number of new Porsches registered by Ukrainian owners is growing every year. The most popular models remain the Cayenne, Macan and Taycan, which consistently hold leading positions in the premium class.
