Porsche to Release a Special Version of the 911 Sports Car for Our Roads en

The German sports car manufacturer has already begun testing the Porsche 911 for rough roads. The “off-road” modification of the iconic model features increased ground clearance, larger wheel arches, special tires, and different bumpers that provide better approach and departure angles.

According to Motor1, the 911 for rough roads will receive a 450-horsepower engine from the 911 4S and, unsurprisingly, will be all-wheel-drive.

If this project is approved by management, the “off-road” sports car will receive the Safari prefix and will be released in a limited edition, and something tells us that it will appear in our country in more than one example. By the way, do you know how many Porsches were sold in Ukraine last year?

And while the idea seems new, in fact, Porsche already has a history of producing 911s designed for rough-road driving. This refers to the 911 SC Safari of the late 70s, which participated in the Safari Rally. And in the mid-80s, the Germans made three Porsche 953s (one of which won the Paris-Dakar).
