New Ultra-Luxury Electric Car from Startup Dacora Motors
The new brand Dacora Motors has announced the creation of the first ultra-luxury car manufactured in the USA in almost a century, although this claim is questionable. The model’s design was developed in collaboration with Pininfarina and resembles a retrofuturistic style.
The car features a wooden hood, round headlights, massive fenders, and retro elements. The ground clearance is 7.5 inches, bringing it closer to crossovers. The rear taillights resemble jet engine design.
Exclusive Interior
The cabin is made from natural materials: wood, wool, and bio-leather. Instead of conventional screens, a projection onto wooden panels is used. The interior can be changed according to the seasons, like a wardrobe.
The model offers various seating configurations — from 3 to 7 seats. Among the unusual options are a built-in coffee machine, a cigar case, and even a living bonsai garden under a glass dome.
Technical Specifications
The electric car weighs 6500 pounds and accelerates to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. A hybrid version is also planned, but details have not been disclosed yet.
Production is set up in New York, with a starting price of $500,000. There is already demand exceeding the planned production volumes, although specific numbers are not provided.
Despite ambitious claims, Dacora Motors has not yet provided sufficient technical details, raising questions about the project’s reality. However, if the car does indeed enter production, it could become an interesting alternative to traditional luxury brands.
