by The new Cadillac Escalade has received an armored version. It was prepared by the Canadian atelier Inkas, which is considered one of the best in the world for producing protected cars.
Cadillac Escalade 2021 is protected according to the BR6 standard, meaning it can withstand shots from an AK-47 (7.62 mm) and the explosion of two hand grenades. An armored capsule was installed in the cabin, and bulletproof glass and tires resistant to punctures were also added.
To handle the heavier SUV, the suspension was reinforced. Communication and fire extinguishing systems are available for an additional fee.
The SUV is offered with a standard 6.2-liter 420 horsepower gasoline V8 and a three-liter turbo diesel with 280 hp. The cost of the SUV is about 300 thousand dollars.
