by Corporation ‘Bogdan’ presented its first electric truck ERCV27. It was created by order of the Danish company Banke Electromotive and after certification, the model will be produced for EU countries at the Lutsk automobile assembly plant. 
Banke ERCV27 measures 7.77 m, and its permissible weight is 27 tons. Its maximum speed is 80 km/h. A lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 220 kWh provides a range of 220 km, and its service life is 12 years.

The Bogdan electric vehicle is equipped with air conditioning and a video surveillance system. ERCV27 will be supplied to Europe as a garbage truck, but other versions of the model may also appear.

Currently, electric trucks are very relevant in the European Union, as many cities have begun to gradually abandon diesel utility vehicles. Representatives of Bogdan expressed their readiness to produce an electric truck for Ukrainian cities as well.
