The new Bentley Mulliner Bacalar has been unveiled. The luxurious convertible has become the most expensive model in the brand’s history: only 12 cars will be produced at a price of 1.5 million pounds sterling ($1.9 million).
Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is built on the Continental GT base, but all body parts are completely new, and the doors and wings are now carbon. The original round headlights with thin turn signals and seat back fairings attract attention.
Inside, the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is trimmed with leather and wool, and wood that has lain 5000 years in British swamps is also used. The two-seater cabin is designed like a cockpit, meaning the driver and passenger are separated by a high console. Behind the seats is a compartment with branded luggage, which comes with the car.
The power of the 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbo was increased to 659 hp.
With an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Bentley convertible accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reaches speeds over 320 km/h. The car features all-wheel drive, air suspension, and active stabilizers.
