by The Fatboy Fab Works studio undertook a serious tuning of the Toyota Hilux. The popular Toyota pickup was turned into a real racing monster.
Under the hood of the Toyota Hilux, a five-liter V12 from the Century sedan was installed, which also became the donor of the 4-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, the engine was augmented with two turbines, raising the power to 540 hp, and the maximum torque to 970 Nm.
The Toyota Hilux Twin-Turbo (as the project was named) has already showcased its capabilities – it participated in the Simola Hillclimb mountain race in South Africa. In the future, the pickup is also planned to be used in competitions.
