by The first official photos of the new Ford GT MkII coupe have been presented. The track supercar Ford will be shown to the public over the weekend during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. 
The new Ford GT MkII is the most powerful and fastest production car in the brand’s history. Although calling it production is a stretch, as only 45 of these cars will be released at a price of 1.2 million dollars. By the way, the car is not allowed to drive on public roads.
Engineers upgraded the 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 EcoBoost and improved its cooling. Now the power exceeds 700 hp, and acceleration to 100 km/h takes less than 3 seconds. It is rumored that on the track, the car is even faster than the race-ready Ford GT for Le Mans and easily surpasses the standard Ford GT 2017. 
New adjustable DSSV shocks and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with a diameter of 395 mm at the front and 360 mm at the rear have also been introduced. 
In addition, the Ford supercar has been lightened by 90 kg and its aerodynamics have been significantly improved.
Thanks to the body kit, diffuser, and rear wing, downforce is increased by 400%.
