The famous atelier Pininfarina is now not only engaged in design, but will also produce its own cars. The first will be the Pininfarina Battista electric hypercar, presented at the Geneva Motor Show.
The characteristics of the Pininfarina Battista are impressive: its four electric motors (one per wheel) deliver 1900 hp and 2300 Nm. The result is less than 2 seconds to a hundred and 12 seconds to 300 km/h, that is, dynamics no worse than Formula-1 cars. Top speed is over 350 km/h.
Overall, a good competitor to the Tesla Roadster 2020.
The 120 kWh battery allows for a range of 450 km. The electric car’s arsenal includes carbon-ceramic brake systems and an adjustable rear wing that can serve as an air brake.
Of course, Pininfarina would not be themselves if they didn’t create an elegant body with smooth lines. In the cabin, the different color finishes for the driver and passenger stand out.
A total of 150 Pininfarina Battista cars are planned to be produced. Hypercar production starts in 2020.
