At the Salon Rétromobile exhibition in France, a new prototype of the Capricorn 01 Zagato supercar debuted. The model combines engineering development from the German company Capricorn, Italian design from Zagato, and a modified American V8. This is already the second public showing of the model after its premiere in Belgium. This is reported by Carscoops.
Capricorn 01 Zagato: Design and Prototypes
The new example received a yellow Giallo Sole color instead of the previous green Verde Knokke, and the interior was trimmed with blue suede. The design is executed in Zagato’s characteristic style with a double ‘bubble’ roof, almond-shaped optics, gullwing doors, and pronounced aerodynamics. Both cars shown are fully functional prototypes, and a third example is already being assembled in Germany.
