by There are only a few hours left before the presentation of the McLaren Speedtail coupé, but the car has already been unveiled. The McLaren hypercar is the new flagship of the brand’s lineup. 
The new McLaren Speedtail is called the successor of the legendary McLaren F1. It is a high-speed sports-touring model. The name Speedtail hints at the elongated “tail” of the car – this design helps achieve high speeds.
At the same time, there are small retractable spoilers provided. At the front, the car slightly resembles the McLaren 720S coupé. 
Like its famous predecessor, the new McLaren hypercar is a three-seater. The driver sits in the center, with passengers on the sides. The front panel features three displays.

The McLaren Speedtail coupé is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor. The total power of the hybrid system is about 1000 hp. The characteristics of the McLaren have not yet been disclosed, but it is known that its top speed exceeds 400 km/h. 
A total of 106 McLaren Speedtails will be produced – exactly the same number as the F1. Despite the price of $2.1 million, they have all long been sold out.
