Volkswagen has decided to hold back no more and has presented a true giant — the updated 2025 Talagon. This crossover isn’t just big. It is so big that even the Bentley Bentayga seems like a mid-size SUV next to it, and the VW Atlas shifts gears nervously on the sidelines.
- The Talagon is 132 mm longer than the Bentayga (5168 mm vs. 5036 mm),
- and 118 mm larger than the Atlas
This is no longer just a crossover — it’s something like a house on wheels with a residence permit in China (it is produced by the FAW-VW joint venture).
The new Talagon doesn’t look like an ID4 on steroids, but overall — everything is quite harmonious.
2025 Talagon Dimensions:
- Length — 5168 mm
- Width — 2002 mm
- Height — 1792 mm
- Wheelbase — 2890 mm
The interior is a true hall: three screens, including one for the front passenger (so they can feel important too), a new steering wheel and dashboard, and a choice between 6 and 7 seats. The trunk after folding the third row is 880 liters, meaning there will be enough space for suitcases, the mother-in-law, and for doubts about why you bought such a huge car.
What’s Included in the Trim Levels:
- Standard: keyless entry, power tailgate, adaptive cruise, a bunch of electronic “nannies,” and three-zone climate control.
- Top trim: Harman-Kardon with 12 speakers, self-parking, heated and massaging seats, ventilation, and other attractions of the business-class life.
Under the hood — a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 272 hp, a seven-speed DSG, and all-wheel drive. No diesels, hybrids, or electrics — just proven classic with turbocharging.
And all this — for less than $40,000. Now imagine how much extra you’d have to pay to get this size in a Bentley. So, if it’s important for you to be the biggest in the yard (both in the parking lot and in the family chat) — the 2025 Talagon is waiting.
