The Stellantis Presidential Car – A Moving Symbol of France

French President Emmanuel Macron has received a new official car – a special version of the DS N°8. This unique model was presented for the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day.

Externally, the car is finished in a sapphire-blue color with black accents. The DS Luminascreeen radiator grille is illuminated in the colors of the French flag – blue, white, and red. The front bumper features flag holders and also has a folding soft top.

The blue theme continues in the interior, which uses Dream Blue Alcantara and Nappa leather. The door panels are decorated with pleated inserts, mother-of-pearl embroidery, and the sound system is by the brand Focal.

The most impressive is the interior trim with marquetry made of painted rye straw, executed in the form of an elegant fan. This design differs from the traditional wood inserts found in premium cars.

Although the interior details are not fully revealed, a digital instrument panel and a 16-inch multimedia system are visible. Special buttons, likely for emergency signaling, are located under the floating console.

Technical specifications remain largely unknown, but the stated range of up to 750 km suggests the model is based on the long-wheelbase version with a 97.2 kWh battery and a 242 hp motor. However, the armor may affect the real performance.
