Because automakers are already presenting 2027 models, dealers are forced to offer significant discounts on the remaining Fiat 500X. The most affordable Pop versions, which originally cost $33,785, are now selling for $20,999, which means savings of almost $13,000.
One dealer notes that even with discounts, buyers are getting a three-year-old car, which may not be the most profitable deal.

In addition to the base version, there are also sporty 500X Sport modifications available. They were initially priced at $35,865, but now their price is reduced to $21,999. The largest discount is over $14,000 for the Sport model with an initial cost of $37,115.

For example, a dealer in Georgia is offering the last Pop unit for $20,650, while in Ohio the price for the Sport reaches $36,830. Some advertisements are so outdated that they refer to promotions that have already ended, but dealers may agree to additional terms to get rid of the cars.
This situation illustrates the difficulties dealers face when selling models that have lost relevance. Even significant discounts cannot always compensate for the loss of consumer interest in outdated cars, especially in a rapidly updating market. The prolonged storage of such vehicles can affect the overall efficiency of the business, forcing dealers to seek non-standard approaches to clear out warehouses.
