Used car sales in Ukraine hit records

In June, 35.9 thousand used cars were registered in Ukraine for the first time. According to the association ‘Ukrautoprom’, this is immediately 23% more than a year earlier.

Used cars in Ukraine still occupy 80% of the market, as new cars in June were bought four times less. In total, 195.5 thousand used cars were registered in the first half of the year – 40% more than in the same period last year.

The most demanded brands in the secondary market remain Volkswagen (6083 cars), Ford (3480), and Renault (3002). Among the models, Renault Megane (2171 units), Volkswagen Passat (1931), and Volkswagen Golf (1832) lead.
