by In September, 35.9 thousand used cars were registered for the first time in Ukraine. According to the association ‘Ukrautoprom’, this is immediately 56% more than in the same period last year. For comparison, only 7.6 thousand new cars were purchased in the same period. In other words, used cars occupy 82% of the market. 
The most popular used cars in Ukraine have also been revealed:
1 Volkswagen – 6.1 thousand cars;
2 Ford – 3.3 thousand;
3 Renault – 3.1 thousand;
4 Skoda – 3 thousand;
5 Opel – 2.1 thousand.
In total, in 2020, 242.3 thousand used cars were registered for the first time in Ukraine – four times more than new ones.
