Protests in the USA: Looters Smash Car Dealerships and Steal Luxury Cars

In particular, in Oakland, California, protesters smashed a Mercedes-Benz showroom. They broke and graffiti-covered most of the cars, and an expensive Mercedes-AMG GT sports car was set on fire.

In the same city, a crowd stormed the Honda dealership. One of the cars was also set on fire, and the CR-V crossover simply went missing. Protests in the USA: Looters Smash Car Dealerships and Steal Luxury Cars (video)

But the most high-profile case was in San Leandro: the local Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep dealership lost about 50 cars, stolen by unknown masked individuals. It seems someone took advantage of the chaos to clean out the showroom and transport the vehicles to neighboring Mexico. Protests in the USA: Looters Smash Car Dealerships and Steal Luxury Cars

Even the fact that dealership employees blocked the exit with cars did not help — they were simply rammed.

The most valuable losses were the 717-horsepower Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats, each valued at around $100,000.
