New Audi Q3 Sportback: Design and Specifications
Audi is preparing a new version of its compact crossover – the Q3 Sportback. This model, recently spotted during testing at the Nürburgring, will feature a more steeply raked rear window and a sportier silhouette. Based on these observations, renderings have been created that provide an idea of the car’s final appearance.
The front part of the Q3 Sportback is almost identical to the regular Q3, with the same LED headlights and characteristic radiator grille. However, the rear has undergone significant changes: smaller side windows, a narrowed roofline, and different rear panels, giving the car a more dynamic look.
Technical Features
The interior of the Q3 Sportback will replicate that of the standard model, including an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch multimedia screen. The steering column stalks will also remain unchanged – one is for gear shifting, the other for turn signals and windshield wipers.
The engine range will include petrol, diesel, and hybrid variants with power outputs from 148 to 268 hp. The most powerful hybrid version will likely be available only in select markets.
Despite some compromises in practicality, the Audi Q3 Sportback is aimed at buyers who value style and dynamics. Its release could significantly strengthen the brand’s position in the segment of compact SUVs with a coupe-like design.
