The 1967 Ghost — a unique Mustang like no other

1967 Mustang Restomod by ECD Automotive Design

ECD Automotive Design, known for its Land Rover and Jaguar restomods, has this time taken on the legendary American car — the 1967 Ford Mustang. The company has created a unique Fastback version featuring an updated design, a more powerful engine, and modern technology.

Technical Upgrades

Instead of the modern Coyote V8 engine, engineers decided to upgrade the original 347-cubic-inch Small Block Ford V8, which now delivers 465 hp. The body is painted in a special High Gloss Mineral White shade with Santorini Black Metallic stripes. The wheels are 17-inch, specially selected for this model.

This Mustang, which we call the ’67 Ghost, combines classic style with modern technology, — ECD notes.

Interior and Additional Improvements

The car’s interior has also undergone significant changes. It features heated Recaro seats in black leather with suede inserts, an aluminum dashboard, a new steering wheel, and a multimedia system with Apple CarPlay support. The project’s price has not been disclosed, but it is known that the company plans similar restomods in the Shelby and Boss style.

This project demonstrates how classic cars can be given new life through modern technology. The 1967 Mustang remains iconic, but now it has become even more comfortable and powerful while retaining its historical charm.
