#Darn-Dig: workers of the largest automotive plant in Russia will be planting potatoes en

The Russian plant ‘Avtotor’ recently produced passenger cars of well-known global brands (BMW, KIA, Hyundai) and commercial vehicles Hyundai and Ford Cargo. But with the onset of the war in Ukraine and the associated sanctions, the enterprise has practically come to a halt. Therefore, the workers of the largest automotive plant in Russia have been allocated gardens to make ends meet.

At the moment, the ‘Avtotor’ automotive plant in Kaliningrad is negotiating the assembly of cars from ‘friendly countries’ at its facilities. And while such partnerships haven’t been found yet, the plant’s management decided to distribute gardens to their workers as a token of support.

It is noted that the size of each plot is 10 acres. Moreover, as Gazeta.ru writes ‘to ensure future harvests in the workers’ gardens, the sale of domestic seed potatoes has been organized.’

Well… Antoshka, Antoshka Let’s go dig potatoes!
