Ram TRX May Return in 2026 as a Predator That Defeats the Raptor

New Information on the Ram 1500 TRX

Information has emerged that the high-performance Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck may return to the market as early as the beginning of 2026. The updated version of the model is likely to become the first product of the new lineup under the leadership of Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis. The car will be positioned above the Ram 1500 RHO and will compete with the Ford F-150 Raptor R.

The previous version of the TRX, which was discontinued in 2024, was equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 702 hp and 880 Nm of torque. This allowed the pickup to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The new model is expected to receive an even more powerful powertrain.

Technical Features

In the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, this engine developed up to 807 hp in the SRT Super Stock version, giving reason to expect similar performance for the new TRX. Currently, the Ford F-150 Raptor R with its 720 hp engine holds the title of the most powerful production pickup truck, but Ram may reclaim the lead.

The previous TRX was positioned as the most powerful production pickup truck in its class, specifically designed for extreme operating conditions. The price of the 2024 model was over $117,000.

Interest in the new model is already high – Stellantis received over 10,000 orders within the first day after the announcement of the model’s return. The final technical specifications and design of the updated TRX remain unknown for now, but experts expect significant updates compared to the previous version.
