by Images of the five-door Suzuki Jimny have appeared on the Internet. The family version of the compact SUV will be presented in November in India, and its sales will start from 2021.
Although the Suzuki Jimny has been lengthened and given a couple of doors, the car will still remain quite compact – slightly less than 4 meters in length. Nevertheless, the interior space will significantly increase, as will the trunk.
It is known that the car’s production will be set up at the Maruti-Suzuki plant in India, where it will be called the Maruti Gypsy. It will be priced from $13,500. Later, the five-door Jimny may be introduced to other markets.
The vehicle will retain the 1.5-liter 102-horsepower gasoline engine and all-wheel drive.
A choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic will be offered.
