Four cars from Richard Hammond’s personal collection will go under the hammer next week at an Iconic Auctioneers sale during the Race Retro show at Stoneleigh Park. The auction will take place on February 21. This is reported by Iconic Auctioneers.
The selection includes a pre-war tourer, a classic Fast Ford, a track car, and a modern project with a media history.
Richard Hammond: Which Cars Will Go Under the Hammer

Among the lots is a Ford Escort RS2000 Mk2 from 1979, restored by The Smallest Cog workshop after featuring on the show Richard Hammond’s Workshop. The car is painted Ford Midnight Blue, has a new interior, and restored suspension and brakes. Estimated value is £25,000–30,000 (approximately $31,500–37,800).

The second lot is a racing MG B GT from 1972, which Hammond used in competitions. The car is equipped with a 131-horsepower Rick Wood Motorsport engine. The machine participated in four racing seasons from 2022 to 2025. Estimate: £15,000–20,000 ($18,900–25,200).
Richard Hammond’s Collection: Pre-war Classic and MINI

Also up for auction is a Riley 14/6 Alpine Sports Tourer from 1933. The car has a continuous history and period-use modifications, including a four-speed gearbox. Hammond purchased it in 2019. Estimate: £18,000–24,000 ($22,700–30,200).

The fourth lot is a MINI Cooper S (R53) from 2006, built for the DriveTribe project. After modifications, it received a 1.8-liter Lohen engine producing 304 horsepower. The car is known by the name Stanley. Approximate price: £10,000–15,000 ($12,600–18,900).
All cars can be viewed from February 20 to 22, and the auction will be broadcast online.
