Rare Cars from the Junkyard at the World’s Edge (photo)

The junkyard in the Argentine city of Ushuaia is notable for being the southernmost in the world. It’s no wonder, given that it’s located on the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, just a stone’s throw from Antarctica.

Yet, the junkyard is remarkable not just for its location, as you can see not only mass-produced cars there but also rather rare specimens from the 60s and 70s. Even a VAZ has ended up at the world’s edge.
