by At the Shanghai Auto Show, the new Renault City K-ZE was revealed. The Renault electric car will be produced in China and will go on sale this year with a starting price of $8000. 
The electric vehicle is based on the budget crossover Renault Kwid, though the City K-ZE features a redesigned front end, body kit, and LED daytime running lights. The car is only 3.7 m long but has a 300-liter trunk. 
The interior features a replaced dashboard and an 8-inch touchscreen.
Equipment includes satellite navigation, a rearview camera, voice control, and Wi-Fi. 
The specifications of the Renault City K-ZE are not yet disclosed, although it is known that the range is about 250 km. The Renault electric car can be charged in 4 hours from a home network and in 50 minutes from a fast station.
