A unique project based on a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser has been put up for sale on AUTO.RIA in the capital. The first-generation SUV was converted into a pickup truck and, after a complete restoration, is being offered for $24,999 (about UAH 1,097,456).

In 2021, the vehicle was completely disassembled down to the frame and reassembled with a major overhaul of all components. The restoration included engine, transmission, and axle repairs. The frame was sandblasted and treated, and the body was repainted.
The interior was reupholstered to match the original. After the work was completed, the mileage was effectively reset; it now stands at about 2,000 km since the overhaul. According to documents, the vehicle is registered as a pickup, and all modifications have been officially recorded.
FJ Cruiser specifications and TRD trim
Under the hood, a 4.0-liter gasoline V6 engine is installed. The vehicle features the TRD trim and comes with two sets of wheels with branded rims.
The rear row of seats has been removed — a special box has been installed in its place. Gas equipment has also been entered in the technical passport, although it is not actually installed. The vehicle is listed as having had one owner, as the re-registration occurred within the same family.
