Limited Edition Airstream Trailers in Frank Lloyd Wright Style
Airstream is a true icon of American design, associated with travel across the vast expanses of the USA. Almost 90 years after the release of the first models, the company has joined forces with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to create an exclusive series of trailers.
Frank Lloyd Wright, one of the most influential architects of the 20th century, left a legacy that continues to inspire designers. His ideas about the harmony of buildings with nature are reflected in this project.
Design Details
The trailer is inspired by Taliesin West, Wright’s summer residence in Arizona. A key feature of the model is the rear hatch, which allows enjoying the views right from the bed. It transforms from benches or can be used as two separate sleeping areas.
The front part features a dining table and workspace that can be stowed away, freeing up space for a sofa. A large number of windows, including round portholes, makes the interior brighter and more open.
Cost and Availability
This trailer is a true work of art, but its price is corresponding: $184,900 for one of the 200 available units. This combination of Airstream style and Wright’s philosophy will undoubtedly attract the attention of travel and design enthusiasts.
Such collaborations show how classic ideas can find new life in modern products. The trailer not only provides convenience during travel but also becomes a mobile work of art that respects history and innovation.
