Rezvani Retro Introduces Limited Series RR1
After six months of anticipation, Rezvani officially introduced the RR1 on the eve of Monterey Car Week. This project, developed by the Rezvani Retro division, combines modern technology with retro design inspired by classic Porsche 911s.
Design and Features
At first glance, the RR1 resembles an updated version of a retro car, but in reality, it is a modern Porsche 911 with elements that mimic the design of past decades. The front end stands out particularly, with classic headlights, a new grille, and unique air intakes. The first unit of the series is executed in the Martini Racing style with a white-blue-red livery and the number “1” on the hood and doors.
The rear has also undergone significant changes: new fenders, a large spoiler, an updated bumper, and a diffuser. The wheel rims are complemented by red aerodynamic covers that improve both efficiency and appearance.
Interior and Technical Specifications
The RR1’s interior combines modern technology with retro elements: a new leather steering wheel, seats with blue-red upholstery, analog Tag Heuer clocks on the dashboard, a wooden gear shift knob, and an embroidered logo on the floor mats.
The base RR1 600 model is equipped with a 3.0-liter biturbo engine producing 600 hp and rear-wheel drive, while the RR1 750 received a 3.8-liter engine with 750 hp and all-wheel drive. Both versions are offered with a manual or automatic transmission.
This project will certainly interest collectors, but its limited series and high cost make the RR1 accessible only to a select few. At the same time, it demonstrates how modern technology can be combined with nostalgic design, creating a unique product for fans of automotive aesthetics.
