Revology Has Probably Created the Perfect Mustang Boss 429

Modern Embodiment of a Legend

This is the Revology Boss 429 – a car that can be considered one of the closest to a modern embodiment of the 1969 Ford Mustang. It significantly surpasses ordinary restomods, as it is completely redesigned from scratch, combining a modern powertrain with the original design and a 60s-style interior.

Technical Features

The car is built on a new chassis with aluminum subframes and an updated suspension, including double wishbones at the front and a three-link rear suspension. Instead of the original 7.0-liter engine, a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine is used.

Power and Design

The supercharged Coyote engine develops a power of 710 hp and can be paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a ten-speed automatic. All power is delivered to the rear wheels.

The design of the Revology model is almost identical to the original, although all steel body panels are new. The body is assembled using automated spot welding, butt joints, and heat-resistant structural adhesive, providing significantly higher rigidity compared to the standard model.

The demonstration car is painted in a bright Lava Orange shade, borrowed from the Porsche palette.

Interior and Manufacturer’s Comments

The interior is completely redesigned and upholstered in high-quality white leather on the seats and door panels. Black leather is used on the dashboard, steering wheel, and transmission tunnel, as well as wood on the instrument panel and doors.

The Boss 429 is one of the rarest and most desirable muscle cars of all time. The Revology Boss 429 is not a copy of this iconic model, but its reinterpretation, using modern technology, engineering, and manufacturing processes to make it as reliable and enjoyable to drive as it is to look at.

Production and Prices

Revology has not announced how many copies of the Mustang Boss 429 it plans to sell, but it is known that half of the production capacity for the next year of 50 units is already sold out. The price starts from $395,000.

This project demonstrates how classic design can be combined with modern technology, providing drivers not only with aesthetic pleasure but also with a high level of comfort and reliability. The use of advanced materials and manufacturing methods makes the Revology Boss 429 an example of how automotive history can come to life in a new format while preserving its authenticity.
