New Rezvani Fortress: A Tactical Pickup for Extreme Conditions
Rezvani Motors has unveiled a teaser for its brand new Fortress pickup, which is positioned as a “tactical truck built for uncompromising functionality, maximum safety, and world-class off-road power.” The model’s debut is scheduled for next month, and according to rumors, it may be based on the Ford F-150 Raptor R.
The company is not disclosing many details yet, but teaser images point to an aggressive front end reminiscent of the Vengeance model. The pickup features a bulging vented hood and three narrow headlights. These are complemented by an LED light bar on the roof and massive tires that extend beyond the wheel arches.
A Design That Combines the Incompatible
Moving along the sides, you can notice that the angular body looks as if it was born from a “drunken encounter” between the Chevrolet Avalanche and the Tesla Cybertruck. A 5.5-foot cargo bed and linear LED taillights, which evoke associations with Lamborghini, are also visible.
Power and Technical Specifications
Details about the powertrain are still limited, but Rezvani mentions a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine that produces up to 850 hp (634 kW / 862 PS). This is significantly more than the Ford F-150 Raptor R, which has 720 hp (537 kW / 730 PS) and 640 lb-ft (867 Nm) of torque. However, Ford Performance has already demonstrated that this engine is capable of producing over 900 hp (671 kW / 913 PS) thanks to the installation of a Whipple 3.0-liter supercharger kit.
Buyers will also get all-wheel drive and a wide range of options, including armor and “advanced safety and security features.” The company is already accepting pre-orders with a $500 deposit, but it is worth noting that the model’s price will likely be at least $200,000.
