Rezvani Vengeance: Armored luxury SUV based on the Cadillac Escalade
A few years have passed since Rezvani shocked the world with its Vengeance based on the Cadillac Escalade, and to our surprise, buyers lined up for it. The American company has now published images of its seventh car, and while the exterior remains extremely extravagant, it is the interior that turns out to be the main highlight.
Exterior: Futuristic armored vehicle
A standard Escalade can attract quite a bit of attention, especially if equipped properly. However, cars from Rezvani are designed to attract attention from afar, and that is exactly what the Vengeance does. Adorned with a unique body, it looks like something out of a science fiction movie.
Finished in matte gray, the car completely loses its resemblance to the Cadillac. The front includes new headlights, radiator grille, tow hooks, skid plates, and a special hood that looks like it was designed by a 12-year-old on a candy-only diet. There are also flared wheel arches and thick armor providing protection from firearms.
Rezvani Motors backs up the exterior with appropriate equipment. The car is equipped with military Runflat tires, reinforced suspension, and a night vision system with thermal imager. There are also electrified door handles, a smoke screen system, and an intercom.
Interior: Like a private jet
Judging only by the SUV’s exterior design, one might think the interior would be Spartan and militarized, like a road-going tank. But that is not the case. Instead, it almost resembles the cabin of a luxury private jet: two leather captain’s chairs and two smaller foldable seats located on the front bulkhead.
Between the seats there is a large refrigerator for storing the owner’s favorite wine and champagne, as well as a large screen and iPads built into the side panels. The Vengeance also has a starry ceiling like a Rolls-Royce and is trimmed with a large amount of high-quality wood. The overall interior design shows its age in places, but the feeling of luxury is unquestionable.
So, you get something that looks built for conflict but behaves more like a very expensive way to avoid it.
Interestingly, Rezvani managed to combine seemingly incompatible things: extreme protection and luxury. This approach indicates that demand for such hybrids exists among a very wealthy clientele who value safety no less than comfort. Although the design may seem excessive, it clearly fulfills its marketing function — making the car recognizable. It is worth noting that the use of Rolls-Royce components, such as the starry ceiling, underscores Rezvani’s ambition to compete not only in the armored vehicle segment but also in the world of ultra-luxury.
