At the retro show in Monterey (USA), the new Rolls-Royce Droptail was presented. The exclusive convertible will cost $25 million, and only four such cars will be produced. This was reported by Focus. Rolls-Royce Droptail is an elegant two-seater convertible with a removable roof, a long hood, and a pair of fairings behind the seats. The signature radiator grille is combined with slim headlights. The car doors open against the direction of travel and feature unique slim taillights. The vehicle measures 5.3 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and is equipped with 22-inch wheels. The first Droptail model features a special red-black color scheme inspired by black bacarra roses. The interior of the Rolls-Royce Droptail took two years to develop. It is also executed in red-black tones, and its main feature is a mosaic made of 1603 pieces of wood, symbolizing falling rose petals. Notably, a luxurious Audemars Piguet Royal Oak clock is installed on the front panel, and a special lockable compartment for champagne appeared between the seats. The Rolls-Royce Droptail convertible is built on its own platform made of steel, aluminum, and carbon. It is equipped with a 6.6-liter V12 engine producing 593 hp and 840 Nm of torque. With an 8-speed automatic transmission, it accelerates to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds, and its top speed is limited to 250 km/h. It is worth noting that the new Rolls-Royce Droptail is not the most expensive car of today. Its predecessor, the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, cost $28 million.
