by A few hours before the premiere, the first photos of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 appeared online. The luxurious SUV will become the main competitor to the Bentley Bentayga. 
The Maybach version differs from the standard Mercedes GLS with a chrome radiator grille. In addition, there are more chrome details and large 22-inch wheels. 
Major changes occurred in the interior of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600.
The interior features expensive leather and wood. But most importantly, there is a pair of second-row seats with electric adjustment, heating, ventilation, massage, and reclining footrests. 
Rear passengers also have their own monitors and a touchscreen to control the four-zone climate control. The seats are separated by a console with a small refrigerator. 
The new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 500 hp and 730 Nm.
An additional 22 hp is briefly added by a 48-volt hybrid system. Of course, there is also an air suspension with adjustable ground clearance.
