The much-publicized Russian car Crimea has not become a production model, even though it was presented three years ago. Now the roadster has undergone modernization and appeared in an unexpected place – near the museum ‘Ukraine’ (strangely enough, this is in Belarus).
Given the car’s name, it’s quite symbolic. By the way, the car has new LED optics and an enlarged radiator grille. It is now based on a monocoque, and the body panels have become of higher quality.
The Crimea roadster is still equipped with a modest 1.6-liter engine from Lada Granta with a power of up to 106 hp. Of course, the car is light, but this is somewhat insufficient for a sports car.
It also has a new hydraulic clutch and a retuned suspension.
The developers plan to produce 10-30 thousand roadsters per year. However, we have very vague doubts about it, considering even the trial batch of cars has not yet been assembled.
