To be precise, the market for used cars in Ukraine is 4.7 times larger than the market for new cars. Almost every second registered car is over 10 years old. The share of such cars in the market exceeds 40%.
Volkswagen remains the leader in the number of registrations. VW Passat and VW Golf top the list of the most popular cars in the country. Ford holds second place with a market share of 8.9% (there are 22 times more used Fords in Ukraine than new ones).
Renault is in third place. But unlike Volkswagen and Ford, over the past 9 months, the number of used Renault registrations is 3 times higher than the number of new Renault models, which is a very good indicator for the market.
